1) I haven't been able to purchase a license. My payment won't go through.
Please try to purchase the license again. If you still have problems, please contact us.
2) My payment went through but I never received a confirmation email with the details of my license.
If Amazon has confirmed that your payment as been accepted and you still haven't received an email, first double check that the email hasn't been sent to your spam box (the email will have been sent by "Aku Shaper Licensing <licensing@akushaper.com>"). If you can't find it, please email us and we'll send you the details of your license personally.
3) I have my license key and license ID but I don't know what to do with them.
Start up the Aku Shaper software. If you don't see a 'Pro Licensing' menu next to the 'Help' menu, you'll need to first update your copy of the software. To do this, close the Aku Shaper software completely and make sure you are connected to the internet. The next time you start the software it should update for you automatically. Once you can see the 'Pro Licensing' menu, click on it and then click on 'Activate License' and enter your license details as requested.
4) I've entered my license key and license ID in the Aku Shaper software but it keeps getting rejected.
There are a couple reasons this might happen. The license key or license ID may not have been entered correctly, the license may have already been activated on more than 3 computers, or the license may be expired or tampered with. Please try entering your license details again and contact us if you still run into problems.
5) I've activated my license but now I'm running into problems.
Similar to the problem above, there are a couple reasons this might happen. There's a chance that the license may be expired, tampered with, or somehow corrupted. The licensing files were stored in the 'AkuShaper' directory of your home directory on your computer (for help locating your home directory please see Wikipedia's Home Directory page). Inside the AkuShaper directory you'll find a log file named "akushaper.log". Please email us a summary of the problems you are running into and attach a copy of this log file to the email. After reviewing the log, we'll be able to fix any errors you're running into and get you back on your way to designing killer boards.
